Mme NGUMNESAH NDEFRU Tchuensu

With over eight years of public service in Diplomacy and international relations in Cameroon, Mrs Ngumnesah is passionate about disarmament and peace building questions. Impacting change and building resilient generations is a goal she aims to achieve. In the last three years of her career, Mrs Ngumnesah has consecrated her path unto the in-depth understanding of global security trends and geopolitics which has led her to a keen interest in the field of Cyber diplomacy and cyber governance. She is a fellow of the UN Women in Cyber program and a participant to the respective UN processes: the Open ended Working Group on developments in the field of ICT in the context of international security and the Ad Hoc Committee to elaborate a comprehensive international convention on countering the use ICTs for criminal purposes.

She believes that the contemporary global international power redistribution do no longer focus on who has the greatest nuclear or conventional arm, but on who can better deploy itself into SPACE (cyber space and atmospheric space) and so Nations should align to this new trend and be collectively ready to face the stakes and challenges underlining this new shift in paradigm. To this effect, promoting capacity building and confidence building measure is the key for an inclusive and meaningful participation of all.

Mrs Ngumnesah is open, and ready to learn and share her views in this domain with peers sharing the same vision of international relations at any time.
