The CyberDiplomat conducted a workshop on Cybersecurity for AICTE

On April 27, 2022, A workshop on Cybersecurity for All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) officials was presented by Sanjana Rathi - CEO of the CyberDiplomat Tech Private Limited, at AICTE Headquarters. The workshop's primary focus was on the prevention of Phishing attacks faced by most organizations. In addition, the workshop highlighted the risk mitigation strategy that individuals in an organization need to develop to be cyber-resilient.

The opening remarks was made by Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, the Director of AICTE. He highlighted the importance of Cybersecurity training and awareness for all individuals. The director also mentioned the rising cybercrime and need for technical education and solution to detail with the challenge.

Ms. Sanjana Rathi, simulated a phishing scenario and spoke about the tools and techniques that can be used to effectively handle it. She also spoke about cross-disciplinary research and practice while practically demonstrating an event of crisis.

The three hours session on cybersecurity risk management was concluded with a remark from Dr. RK Soni, Senior Advisor, AICTE. Dr. Soni spoke about the importance of outreach and capacity building to strengthen Cyber Resilience.
