Cybersecurity training usually treats people as the weak link to be patched. Cyberpsychology training treats them as the actual subject — because phishing works by exploiting trust, cyberbullying and online radicalisation follow well-studied behavioural patterns, and 'just tell people to be careful' has never once worked as a strategy. We built three separate courses, at three separate depths, because a general employee, a worried parent, and a licensed clinician need genuinely different material — not the same slide deck with a different cover page.

Digital Identity & Adolescent Development
How online identity formation interacts with adolescent development, and where it becomes clinically relevant.
Day 2 — Applied Clinical Practice
Assessment & Intake Integration
Building technology-use screening into standard intake and assessment without turning every session into a tech-habits audit.
Treatment Planning for Technology-Related Presentations
Incorporating cyberpsychology considerations into an existing treatment plan, including for co-occurring conditions.
Telehealth Ethics & Digital Therapeutic Tools
Practical and ethical considerations when delivering care through digital channels or recommending digital therapeutic tools.
Case Consultation & Capstone
Facilitated peer case consultation on real (anonymised) technology-related presentations, followed by a certification assessment.
Certification
Every course concludes with a short assessment and a Certificate of Completion — the professionals' track qualifies for continuing-education documentation on request.

The general-public session, the parent/teacher workshop, and the clinical intensive share a foundation but are written, and taught, separately for each audience.

Can we book multiple courses for one organisation — for example, our staff and their families?
Yes. Many organisations run 'Cyberpsychology for Everyone' for all staff and 'Cyberpsychology for Parents & Teachers' as a family-facing benefit or for a partner school. Ask about a combined package.
Does the professionals' course count as continuing education?
The course maps to standard CE structures (10 contact hours across 2 days); we provide attendance and assessment documentation your licensing board can evaluate against its specific CE requirements.
Can the parent/teacher workshop run for a single school or PTA event?
Yes — this is one of the most common bookings for this course, in-person or live online for a single school community.
Do the online formats run live or are they pre-recorded?
All three courses are delivered live by a facilitator, in rolling cohorts — never pre-recorded video.
Is this training accredited?
These courses are not currently within our NABET accreditation scope, which covers Governance, Risk & Compliance and Cyber Training & Awareness. Participants receive a Certificate of Completion from The CyberDiplomat on passing the closing assessment.
